Walnut Floor Maintenance Re-Oil
A one-day re-oil that brought back the depth of an engineered walnut floor.
About this project
After a few years of family life, this walnut floor's oil finish had worn thin in front of the sofa and in the doorways. There was no need to sand away any of the wear layer.
An intensive clean and a light buff prepared the surface. We then buffed in a maintenance oil to feed the timber and even out the colour.
The family were back on the floor that evening. We also recommended a simple cleaning routine and a re-oil every year or two.
